The always popular 300 Club Labor Day Picnic for the Mt. Jewett Sportsmen’s Club will be held on Sunday, 9/2, starting at 1:00 pm. This year’s events include games such as human foosball, a horseshoe tournament, and a corn hole tournament; snacks, beverages, and a dinner at 5:00 pm; raffle prizes, including a Glock 42 pistol, and 300 club numbers; and a DJ for music.
The Mt. Jewett Sportsmen’s Club is a progressive sportsmen’s club that features clay target shooting, a rifle and pistol range, a Women’s Intro to Wingshooting Program, youth pheasant hunts, a Hunter Education program, Boy Scout events, THE Big Buck content, and sharing of conservation knowledge. All proceeds from the 300 Club Labor Day Picnic support outdoor heritage events right here in NC PA.
Future programs will include a Gun Bash and potential NRA Women on Target pistol training.
Jim Troutman, President of the Mt. Jewett Sportsmen’s Club, says that, “We only have 50 tickets left for this important event for conservation.” Tickets may be purchased by contacting the Mt.
