Bradford Era — As the MJ2KB T(rails) Club continues to move forward with an attempt to dialogue with Headwaters Charitable Trust of DuBois, the Allegheny National Forest Visitors Bureau, the McKean County Planning Commission, along with several municipalities, historical societies and landowners the proposed trail would impact, the question as to why a historical assessment was not completed prior the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources awarding Headwaters’ the grant has arisen.

A copy of Headwaters’ grant application was obtained by Bill Belitskus of the MJ2KB T(rails) Club. Belitskus noticed several sections of the application not completed, including two noteworthy sections regarding a review for historical significance and an analysis for the impact of noise on land use.  Read more
