Bradford Era — The Mount Jewett Regional Sewer Authority voted on Tuesday to not sell the sewage treatment system to Aqua America Inc. of Bryn Mawr, ending months of speculation as to whether or not the authority would sell the aging facilities to the same company who bought the borough’s water facilities.

Authority member Jim Trussell made a motion to specifically not sell the wastewater system, and received support from Patrick Crants and Scott Hungiville. However, with no more support from the rest of the authority, Trussell’s motion died.   Read More
