Bradford Era — A Mount Jewett family lost their home in what appears to have been an electrical fire Monday evening.

No one was injured in the blaze, which was determined to be accidental in nature, according to State Police Fire Marshal Cpl. Greg Agosti.

Fire crews from Mount Jewett, Kane, Smethport and Hamlin Township were dispatched at 6:09 p.m. Monday to 9 Keesler Ave., where they arrived to find heavy flames emanating from the side and rear of the two-story structure, according to Mount Jewett Fire Chief Dan Gustafson.   Read More
