Bradford Era — Mount Jewett Borough still has not closed the $1.1 million sale of the borough water facilities to Bryn Mawr-based Aqua America Inc., as several details with the sale are still be ironed out.

Borough council president Chuck Paar gave a report for borough solicitor Dan Hartle, who could not be at Monday night’s meeting. Paar said there were “a couple of minor and one major” issues that were still outstanding between the two parties, but there were no deal breakers. He described the obstacles as “getting the T’s crossed and I’s dotted” in the agreement before proceeding.  Read More
