Olean Times — A freezing, snowy, icy winter hasn’t caused any significant delays with the construction of a multimillion‑dollar park office/visitor center at Kinzua Bridge State Park, an official said this week.
Work is ongoing, and as of Friday, contractors were on site, pouring foundation walls and doing other related work, according to state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources press secretary Christina Novak.
DCNR officials are hoping to have the approximately $6.8 million project finished in the fall. Plans call for the facility to include 2,800 square feet of space in two exhibit halls and a lobby, park administrative offices, public restrooms and classroom space. Read More
