Bradford Era — Time is beginning to run out for the MJ2KB T(rail) Club as it continues to sally forth in gathering funds to purchase the 3.9-mile section of the former Knox-Kane rail corridor from Kovalchick Salvage Co. of Indiana. However, the group has enlisted help at the 11th hour to assist in gather the necessary funds.
According to club co-chairperson Dr. Karen Sees, the club had $67,101 in the bank at 9 p.m. Wednesday. Sees noted while the amount is still short of Kovalchick’s $430,000 asking price, the money is in the bank and, with some potential large money donors, more could be on the way soon. Read More
