Bradford Era — With a potential increase in tourism on the horizon, Mount Jewett is now investigating adding another possible attraction by creating a WalkWorks route around the borough.

Mount Jewett Councilman Don Martyna presented an update on the project at the January borough council meeting. Martyna reported the borough is in the preliminary stages of planning the route with local administrators of the program, both through the Center for Rural Health Practice at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and some of the surrounding communities that already have the walking routes.  Read More
