Bradford Era — Six months after Mount Jewett borough officially eliminated retaining a full-time police officer, citizens voiced their concern about a lack of police presence to borough council on Monday.

Connie Carlson, owner of Kaffe Sol at 1 W. Main St., said she has noticed some vandalism, including plants missing, a cigarette receptacle stolen — twice — and even a driver clipping the edge of her building. Carlson has noticed these kind of incidents appear to be on the rise.   Read More
